Plum cake with thyme
125 g unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
250 grams of flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup milk
pinch of salt
approximately 400 g plums, pitted
2 sprigs thyme, leaves only
Preheat oven to 180 C. Taught paper rectangular form about 23×30 cm.
Rub butter with sugar until fluffy. Add one egg still grating. Mix flour, powder and salt. Add the half and mix on low speed mixer. Then pour the milk, and finally the rest of the flour. Add the thyme leaves. Mix short, just to connect to.
Translate the dough into the mold. Arrange on top of the plum halves, skin-side down. Bake for 25 – 30 min. Before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
